Great experience
As a complete beginner to kayaking, I was both excited and incredibly nervous before heading out with Limestone Kayaks with my daughter. I had no idea what to expect, and the thought of tipping over or doing something wrong kept running through my mind. But from the moment I arrived, those nerves started to melt away thanks to the welcoming and patient team at Limestone. I add my daughter was not afraid what so every The staff immediately put me at ease. They greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to explain everything clearly—from how to sit in the kayak properly to the basic paddling techniques and safety measures. What really stood out was their genuine care and patience. They never made me feel rushed or inexperienced. Instead, they encouraged me, answered all of my questions (even the small ones), and constantly checked in to make sure I was feeling comfortable and confident. Before we even got on the water, they gave a detailed briefing about the area we’d be exploring, the water conditions, and tips for staying balanced and navigating smoothly. It was clear they had a deep knowledge of kayaking and a passion for sharing it. That kind of attention made all the difference for a first-timer like me. Once we were on the water, the experience only got better. The guide stayed close by, offering gentle coaching when needed and celebrating my progress as I got the hang of things. It wasn’t long before I was paddling with confidence and truly enjoying the peaceful rhythm of kayaking. The scenery was beautiful, and being out there gave me a sense of calm I didn’t expect. What I appreciated most was how empowering the experience felt. Something that started off as intimidating turned into one of the most fun and rewarding activities I’ve done in a long time. And that transformation is entirely thanks to the thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind team at Limestone Kayaks. If you're a beginner or someone who's been hesitant to try kayaking, I can’t recommend Limestone Kayaks enough. They make it safe, easy, and—most importantly—fun. I left feeling proud of myself and already thinking about when I can go again.

Highly recommended
Very nice experience though the beautiful coast of Raglan. Kayaks are easy to use. The guide is on the top, friendly and easy going, with some interesting stories about the region. Would recommend it.

Great tour
I was a little apprehensive but our guide Grace was very thorough before we got on the water and the tour/kayaking was very relaxed with great information throughout I would highly recommend to friends and family.
