Get a unique working farm experience that the entire family will love as you visit the beautiful Bullswool Farm Park!
Round up the family and prepare to tick off a must-do kiwi experience with a visit to Bullswool Farm Park.
Perfectly positioned just minutes from the famous Karangahake Gorge walking tracks with stunning views and surrounded by bush-clad hills, Bullswool Farm is a quintessential kiwi working farm home to many rare-breed farm animals in their natural flocks and herds that are friendly and well-cared for.
You'll have the chance to get acquainted with all the animals which include miniature horses, emus, goats, alpacas, llamas, deer, paint horses, kune-kune pigs, miniature cattle, rabbits, rare breed chickens, ducks, pheasants, coloured sheep and donkeys! You'll also get one bucket of animal food to hand-feed the animals - even the big ones!
The kids will love entertaining themselves in the play area which features fascinating wooden play structures built by award-winning sculptor, Tony Howse and you can spend a bit of time exploring nature on one of the many walking tracks or see the native bird reserve and the Gold & Kauri Museum.
If you like, why not bring your own lunch to eat at one of the several picnic areas and enjoy the peace and tranquillity for a bit longer. There really is something for everyone!

It was a great fun for the family. Plenty of space and activities to keep children busy, and seats for adults to chill.

Another winning day here
We currently have a Japanese exchange student staying with us and we brought her here to experience the animals. She had many delighted moments and we were able to get many photos for her to enjoy sharing with family. Thanks again for providing such an interactive experience!
