Wai-O-Tapu is perfect for the whole family and is suitable for all levels of ability, offering a range of differing walking tracks each showcasing stunning geothermal sights.
Departing your central Rotorua accommodation 8.00am or 1pm, your friendly local driver will take you to Wai-O-Tapu where you will have 4 hours to explore as you please before meeting your driver back at 12.30pm (Morning option) & 5.30pm (Afternoon option)
If you select the morning option, be sure to be at the Lady Knox Geyser at 10.15am to witness her breathtaking daily eruption! - You’ll definitely want to have your camera at the ready for this! Please note that the Lady Knox Geyser only erupts in the morning and will not be avaliable to view if you book for the afternoon option.

- First Option by arrangement with driver and at a minimum cost of $20pp (Return) - Cash.
- Second option pickup from outside Government Gardens Museum where parking for their vehicles is free.

Great visit
Everything was great except for the rainy weather. The driver arrived on time to pick me up with his electric car and went straight to mud pools. While driving he did explained about the thermal and mud pools. He also explained about the trees and population. Everything was perfect. But the rain was there and can't explore much. Thanks for bookme and the tour guides.

Not only is he a friendly and knowledgeable guide who shares brilliant stories and local insights about the Rotorua area, but his customer service is next-level. Great tour!
Wai-o-Tapu was really impressive! Definitely worth a visit! I did the morning tour with plenty of time to see the different stops. Geoff was a great guide. Friendly, funny and knows what he is doing with lots of information from the area! I can recommend the tour!
