Restrictions

Health & Safety Restrictions: We take the safety and wellbeing of all guests very seriously. For this reason, our hot tub bookings require a minimum of 2 people. There must also be someone over the age of 18 present with children at all times.
Cancellation Policy: Bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable within 24 hours of date and time of session.

This experience welcomes families with children.

Notes

Please Note: The hot tub fee includes access to the Hot Tub only, access to Driftaway Queenstowns other facilities is not included.
Hot Tubs differ to Jacuzzis and do not have powerful jets/bubbles.
The Hot Tubs allow for 2-4 people per session. This activity must be completed with a minimum of two people. If you arrive with one person you will not be admitted to the hot tub and no refund will be given
Maximum four people. Children must be two or over but still requires two adults (over 18 years) to be in attendance.
You can bring beverages to enjoy but no glassware. Acrylic glasses are available from reception.
Strictly no food to be brought or consumed in the hot tubs.
The 1 hour time allowed includes change time.
The temperature of the hot tubs is 38 degrees but can vary 1 or 2 degrees either way.
Parking: There is free roadside parking available, as well as on the lakefront below our property. We recommend allowing 5 minutes for parking. Please note, there is no parking available inside the property.
Smoke/Vape Free: Driftaway Queenstown is a Smoke/Vape free property.

Nette Auszeit

Wir waren vormittags aktiv unterwegs und haben am Nachmittag die 1 Std im Hot Tub sehr genossen! An der Rezeption checkt man ein und wird vom sehr freundlichen Personal zur kleinen Kabine gebracht. Die hat man dann für sich (1-4 Pers. passen rein, wir waren zu zweit.) Es ist eine große Wanne darin mit warmen Wasser :-) Ebenso ist ein Handtuch vorhanden und eine Toilette hinter einer Wand. Das Fenster kann man ganz öffnen und hat dadurch einen tollen Blick auf denn See. Mit "Hey Google" kann man noch die richtige Entspannungsmusik auswählen - perfekt!

Great overall experience

A very pleasant experience overall. Soaking in the hot tub was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a lot of driving and exploring around the South Island. The setup at Driftaway is lovely and peaceful.

Great time with family

We went as a family with 2 young children. It was a treat to have a private spa pool to yourself with a view of Lake Whakatipu. It was gpod value for money and the kids enjoyed their time. The 1 hour was short enough to end when kids become antsy and when little fingers prune up, but also enough time for the adults to have a relaxed time in peace, not running around after the children as if it was in a normal community pool.

Relaxing Afternoon

We enjoyed beautiful, shimmering lake views and sun through the skylight in our private hot tub while listening to Spotify tunes over the free Wi-Fi connected to their speaker. This was a repeat visit to Driftaway and didn't disappoint.
