Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.
For those who wish for a taste of luxury - try the private pools, sauna, steam rooms, and the luxurious spa. It's all here in an atmosphere that cannot help but reset the balance in life…

Fabulous day lounging in the spas
We are from Auckland - Hanmer Springs is a favourite place for my entire adult family. It is clean, the waters are amazing and the variety of temperatures on offer satisfy everyone. We will definitely be back!

Mouse
It was fantastic other than the fact we saw a very big mouse / rat while were were at the cafe/restaurant eating lunch

Too many people
Way to many people - couldn’t find anywhere to sit - should definitely monitor how many people are going in. Paid my $3 for a locker but they were all full - Wasn’t keen on sitting in there touching some strangers shoulder. Not for me. Wouldn’t do again.

Visitor from Nelson
I took 2 US family members to the pool one morning. We were all marvelously relaxed after this, enjoying a hot shower afterwards. A very special way to spend a morning.
