Round up the family and gear up for a day of fun and discovery at Natureland Wildlife.
Get up close and personal with a mix of exotic and native wildlife such as Tuatara and Kea, and learn all about their unique lives. The kids will love hanging with the monkeys and getting hands on with a range of interesting domestic animals.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the ecosystems in the Nelson-Tasman region and the conservation efforts being made by local people and groups.
With an emphasis on conservation and preserving endangered species, you'll take part in supporting the vision of this community based charitable trust with each visit - providing a one of a kind experience for all!

Nelson must do
Must do in Nelson located near the beach so you can spend a good amount of time walking on a nice day. They have all sorts of animals. A huge lizard got my attention the most. I went by myself. It could use a upgrade with a cafe or a local caravan stand providing hot drinks outside would be cool. Something the council should allow. A must do in Nelson

Absolutely loved it
What an adorable little zoo. We got up close with rabbits, monkeys, goats and kea. We rebooked to go again in a few days and feed the meerkats. Great for little kids.

Great little park!
Really loved this place, it was peaceful, the animals were great and it was small enough to let our 10 year old roam without worrying he would get lost. Highly recommend for kids; bring a picnic lunch ☺️

Was an excellent experience! Animals were awesome!! My kids had a great time. Thank you!! Staff were great too.
